This is a clipping from a newspaper of a photo and caption. The caption reads, "State Sen. Frederick L. "Fritz" Eagan (right) is presented a certificate of appreciation for his service as a member of the Delgado board of managers, the State Board of Education and the Ednate Education and Finance committees. Marvin Thames, Delgado president, is making the presentation. The function also honored the members of the board who served from 1919 until 1970, when the college was placed under the State Board of Education.
